Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and what you can make us do about it.

Who controls your data

Marco Roma, Abu Dhabi & Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is the data controller for personal information collected through this website.

Data protection contact: hello@marcoroma.ae.

What we collect

  • Order details — name, delivery and billing address, email, phone number.
  • Account details — email and password, if you create an account.
  • Correspondence — messages you send us and our replies.
  • Technical data — IP address and browser type, from server logs.

We never see or store your full card number. Payment details go directly to Ziina or Tabby.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order and handle delivery, returns and warranty claims.
  • To answer your messages.
  • To meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.
  • To send marketing email, but only if you asked for it.

Who we share it with

Only those who need it to complete your order: the courier, the payment provider you chose, and our accountants for tax records.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertising networks.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for the period UAE tax law requires. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Correspondence is kept for two years and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop using it for marketing. Write to hello@marcoroma.ae and we will respond within thirty days.

Unsubscribing from marketing takes one click and does not affect order-related messages, which we must still send.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS. Payment pages are handled by PCI-DSS compliant providers. Access to order data is limited to staff who need it to do their job.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal data we will update the date at the top of this page, and tell you directly where the change is material.

Exercise a right

Ask us what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted.
